SUMMER WORK CREW/SUMMER STAFF

Serving as Work Crew

It's not often in life that we get to evaluate our purpose, map out our future and reflect on our past. As a month-long volunteer on work crew at a Young Life camp, you'll have the chance to grow personally and spiritually — you'll be surrounded by other people from all over the world who, like yourself, really want their lives to count for something and who desire to serve as Jesus did thousands of years ago. Work crew is the volunteer experience for those in high school. To be eligible, you must have completed one year of high school and complete your local area's work crew training course. The work crew serves the campers in a variety of ways like dining hall servers, grounds crew and housekeepers.
How to Apply: Work Crew applicants must be recommended by local area Young Life leaders. To apply for Work Crew, please contact your Young Life leader.

Summer Staff

Summer staff is the volunteer experience for those who have completed at least one year of college (or are of college or post-college age). The summer staff serve the campers at Young Life camps in roles that require considerable maturity and non-verbal witness. Some of these positions are staffing the ropes course, climbing wall, mountain bikes and waterfront.
How To Apply: Contact your Your Young Life leader for more info.
